Carers of Adults Gloucestershire is an independent carer-led and carer-centred organisation with an inclusive membership for carers of adults.

Carers of Adults, Gloucestershire aims to bring together adults who care for another adult – whether because of mental health Issues, frailty, physical or other disability, long term illness, dementia, substance dependency, or for any other condition.

Any person who is over 16 and Carers for an adult with physical or mental health issues, learning disabilities, drug or alcohol abuse, elderly or frail can become a member. Former carers are also able to join.

The Carer must be resident within Gloucestershire but the cared-for may live elsewhere.

Carers of Adults, Gloucestershire aims to:

  • Listen to carers and involve them in decision making on current and future carer issues
  • Collect and share with Carers, via a variety of ways, information about local and national consultations relating to carers’ issues or issues relating to the adult being cared for.
  • Link to Gloucestershire Carers Alliance to strengthen the voice of all Carers in the county.

Wednesday 13 June 2018,  11am – 1pm at Carers Gloucestershire, 2nd Floor Messenger House, 35 St Michaels Square, Gloucester GL1 HX

Refreshments available; please bring a sandwich if you like.

This meeting is a chance to meet others in similar circumstances and continue to identify priorities to take forward.
