Learning, and Development Service Manager (Ref: LDM)

22.5 hours per week
Salary: £16,780 (£27,593 FTE)

Key Responsibilities will include:

  •   the smooth, effective management, running and development of:
    • the Learning & Development Service (including the Positive Caring Programme) for the benefit of carers:
    • the Time Out for Carers breaks service
    • Staff management of the Learning, Development & Breaks Coordinator.

Contribute fully to the strategic management and development of the organisation through the Operational Management Group.

Learning, Development & Breaks Co-ordinator (Ref: LDC)

37 hours per week
Salary: £18,521

Key responsibilities will include:
• providing administration support for a countywide carer learning, development & breaks programme including: liaison with relevant stakeholders, organisation of sessions/events and maintenance of information systems.

• raising awareness and increase the opportunities for carers to access short breaks through the co-ordination of regular trips and events throughout the year.

Carer Adviser (ref:CAM) – maternity cover – minimum of three months with potential for longer.
Full time (37 hours a week) £23,417 FTE pa. (part-time will be considered)

Working with colleagues you will be part of a team providing a range of services and support to carers, including:
• information, advice and guidance to carers
• Carers Assessments and Support Planning to enable carers to access benefits and services and to meet eligible needs
• developing community based support networks
