Our Carer Adviser Team, together with Gloucestershire Young Carers Family Workers, may be able to help.

Carer Adviser Team

A dedicated “Carersline” for telephone information, advice and referral to further services. Open 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday on 0300 111 9000. Carersline Advisers can give help with what services, benefits, grants and local resources are available to help you and the person you care for. They can help you think about your situation as a Carer. If more in-depth help is needed then they can refer you on to a Carer Adviser in our locality teams or to other appropriate services.

Locally based Carer Advisers

Carers Gloucestershire has Carer Advisers based in offices across the county in:

Cheltenham                Cinderford                    Cirencester

Gloucester                  Stroud                          Tewkesbury

Carer Advisers and Family Workers in each locality to provide a range of services for both adult and young Carers.  They might meet you in your home, the locality office, possibly a GP surgery, a school or another appropriate venue.  They can help with Assessment and Support Planning to help identify your needs and to see how they might be resolved.
